Wakil Menteri Pertahanan Donny Ermawan Taufanto membuka Pendidikan Mahasiswa Baru Universitas Pertahanan RI (Unhan RI) Tahun Akademik 2025/2026 di Kampus Unhan RI, Bogor, Jumat (1/8). Sebanyak 1.216 mahasiswa diterima, terdiri atas 199 Program Diploma (5 dari Timor Leste), 622 Sarjana (22 dari Palestina), 26 Profesi Apoteker, 322 Magister (6 internasional), dan 47 Doktor.
Dalam amanat Menhan Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin yang dibacakan oleh Wamenhan, Unhan RI ditegaskan sebagai institusi terdepan dalam mencetak SDM pertahanan unggul, tangguh, dan berjiwa bela negara. Sebagai pusat keunggulan, Unhan RI mendukung visi Indonesia Maju melalui pendidikan dan riset pertahanan berstandar internasional dengan dukungan teknologi mutakhir.
Kementerian Pertahanan terus mengakselerasi integrasi teknologi, memperkuat kemitraan triple helix, serta mendorong kolaborasi regional untuk menjadikan Unhan RI pusat pendidikan pertahanan ASEAN yang visioner dan berdaya saing global.

Vice Minister of Defence Donny Ermawan Taufanto officially inaugurated the new student education programme for the Academic Year 2025/2026 at the Republic of Indonesia Defence University (Unhan RI) campus in Bogor on Friday (1/8). A total of 1,216 students were admitted, comprising 199 Diploma students (including 5 from Timor Leste), 622 Undergraduate students (including 22 from Palestine), 26 students of the Pharmacist Profession Programme, 322 Master’s students (including 6 international students), and 47 Doctoral students.
In the address of Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, delivered by the Vice Minister, Unhan RI was reaffirmed as the leading institution in developing excellent, resilient defence human resources with strong patriotism. As a centre of excellence, it supports the Advanced Indonesia vision through internationally standardised defence education and research enhanced by advanced technologies.
The Ministry of Defence continues to accelerate technology integration, reinforce triple-helix partnerships, and foster regional collaboration to position Unhan RI as a visionary and globally competitive ASEAN centre for defence education.
